Class Suggestions...feel comfortable and confident in your practice
At Zuda, we have many options to help you feel comfortable and confident in your practice. Depending on your current level of fitness and exposure to yoga, you may select a basics class, one-on-one private session or 2-hour workshop to begin.
Basics (Level 1) Class
Perfect for the person brand new to yoga, basics classes are found on different days and times throughout the week and are our most popular offering.
Each basics class follows a similar format. Class starts slowly, allowing you to learn the elemental building blocks of the practice. Modifications for postures are taught so you can experience all the practice has to offer, while developing your strength.
Our teachers will guide and explain each pose you go through, though you might see another student modifying the practice to suit her needs.
You be challenged in a basics class, particularly through breath and presence.
All Level Class
For the student who has done yoga before, even if it’s been awhile or was another style, may we suggest an all level class.
Faster in pace, it is assumed you have a familiarity with Sun Salutations A & B. Each class varies from the last, keeping you engaged and in the present moment.
Yoga 101
You may be one who enjoys asking questions and having a conversation about why we do things. This is your workshop. Designed with the absolute beginner in mind, meaning you’ve done less than 10 classes, in just over 2 hours, you’ll learn how the physical practice fits into the “8-Limb path”, and get step-by-step instruction on the individual postures.
Beginner Series
Learning any new skill takes practice and the feedback of a trusted teacher. Repetition is the key to success. With that in mind we have developed a new approach to learning Zuda’s vinyasa yoga. We call it complete because over the course of 8 classes you’ll learn all 53 poses and 11 sequences that make up the foundation of the flow we teach.
Private Yoga
Have one of Zuda’s nurturing teachers lead your through a one-on-one session. Whether you have a previous injury, are refining your home/travel practice or just want some personalized attention, this may be your option.
Each private session begins with listening to understand where you are. Then your teacher designs a sequence especially for you and is there to make individual refinements and give “assists”.
Your feedback and questions are welcome as this is a learning dialogue from both sides. Together we can create a practice you’ll enjoy and find immensely beneficial.
