Retreat to Bliss. Maya Tulum, Mexico
COMING SOON: 2015 Retreat Dates

Active rest is a powerful part of balanced living. Taking time to do something nourishing and revitalizing for your body and mind creates space and clarity for your love to really shine through.

At the beginning of every year, ZUDA retreats to the warm, sandy shores of the Maya Tulum resort for one week of active rest. We take a small group of people (approximately 20 students) to the secluded, intimate settings of Maya Tulum, Mexico.

Each day, we enjoy exotic, delicious, nutritious meals together. We gather twice a day for yoga. In between yoga and meals, create your own experience: indulge in luxurious massages and other spa treatments; lounge on the powder-soft beach, soak up the sun; hike the nearby ruins; delve into a great book; and enjoy the company of the ZUDA family.

Go to sleep each night and wake up each morning in your beach-side cabana, taking in the sounds of the ocean. Return to your day-to-day life happier, healthier and more balanced.

Sample Schedule:

  • Morning Meditation and Yoga
  • Breakfast
  • Relax
  • Lunch
  • Afternoon/Evening Yoga

About Maya Tulum

Maya Tulum is a seaside Yucatan retreat, just one and half hours south of Cancun, which offers serenity, awe-inspiring scenery and a connection with the Mayan past. The combination of nature, privacy, isolation, comfort, delicious food and easy access from Sacramento makes it the perfect place for an unforgettable yoga retreat.

The crystal clear warm Caribbean Sea invites you to swim or snorkel at any time. Beautiful white-sandy beaches extend for miles. Walk through the jungle to visit a cenote, explore the Sian Ka-an Biosphere, visit yesterday’s great Maya cities, or simply relax on the beach to the ever-present rhythm of the waves.

The climate is ideal and the sun shines all year with cooling sea breezes and glorious clear skies. It’s always a good time to come to Maya Tulum!
