Zuda Teachers > DianaFrom pain to love...

I am unrecognizable from the person I was before--unconscious about everything in my life, myself, my anger, my actions.  I didn't have any direction or sense of self.

I was dragged to my first yoga class by my ex husband in 2000 and loved it immediately.  It felt like home.

I appreciate that the practice is challenging, confrontational and even uncomfortable at times.  By facing truth, and learning how to breathe through it with acceptance, compassion and love, I’ve learned to live happier, healthier and more powerfully.

What used to take me days or weeks to relax from now take hours or even minutes.
Today I feel strong--mentally and physically--and connected to a power greater than myself.

Ever since I started doing yoga...this is what makes me tick--being a student and a teacher and creating community with some of the greatest people in the world.  I love making connections with others, hearing their stories and learning from them.

I teach because I believe in yoga with all of my being.  I've been in some dark places and have learned tools to be happier.  It's priceless.  My hope is that we all can forgive, love and be happy and free.

I've been to 10 teacher trainings, and spent countless hours, with Baron Baptiste.  Baron, and Jonny Kest, whose 200-hour training I’m completing, are my two main sources of inspiration.  They both teach powerful vinyasa.

People come to my classes because they are fun, motivational, transformational, enthusiastic, empowering and playful--compassionately challenging.  The yoga works.  The results manifest in you getting stronger mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually.

Outside of Zuda, I like to hang out with my friends, travel and be a yoga student.  I've been to Italy, Prague, Amsterdam, Switzerland, Jamaica, Canada and all over the United States.  The place I keep going back to, over and over, is Mexico.

I love being out on the water or hiking up a mountain.  I love to dance, go to concerts and music festivals.  My Chihuahua, Shiva, lives with me and is 6 lbs of love.  I’m from Cleveland, Ohio.  I love to hula hoop and do it for hours listening to some great music.

My highest aim to is love unconditionally.

May I care enough, to love enough to share enough to let others become what they can be.
