Join Zuda Yoga for this Peruvian yoga adventure. We will explore Peru’s rich history of song, dance, and storytelling. See your connection to yoga transform as we practice yoga within the ruins of Machu Picchu, seek peace within a Buddhist Monastery and reconnect to the earth and a long line of storytellers through contemplative hiking. Our English speaking guides have been leading groups of yogis providing a view of Peru through a yogic lens. This trip promises to be one of a kind. Day 1 in CaiCay: Arrive at Monastery, chill out, explore; PM yoga & meditation

Day 2 in CaiCay:  AM yoga & meditation; afternoon hike to pre-Inca Bridge; PM yoga & kirtan

Day 3 in CaiCay:  AM yoga & meditation and tour to Tipón Ruins; afternoon relax, service project; and PM yoga & kirtan

Day 4 in CaiCay & Aguas Calientes: AM meditation; travel to Agua Calientes, afternoon yoga at Machu Pichu; evening down time

Day 5 in Aguas Calientes & Sacred Valley Hacienda: AM explore Machu Pichu; afternoon travel to Sacred Valley Hacienda and chill out; PM yoga

Day 6 in Sacred Valley Hacienda: AM yoga and meditation; afternoon hike or visit ruins; PM yoga & kirtan

Day 7 in Sacred Valley Hacienda & Cusco: AM yoga and meditation; afternoon at the Artesan Market in Cusco; evening exploration in Cusco & PM yoga

Day 8 in Cusco: AM yoga & meditation; afternoon activities in Cusco; evening return trip home

Description:

• Explore the peace, sense of community and spirituality at a Buddhist monastery in CaiCay
• Visit important archaeological sites of immense, intact Incan temples and towns at Tipon, Machu Picchu, and the Sacred Valley
• Experience Machu Picchu in a spiritual and unique way, with yoga in the ruins and an incredible view, while still visiting all the important sites
• Stay at a beautiful hacienda in a small village within the Sacred Valley while learning more about the spirituality of the Incas through taking part in a coca leaf ceremony; see the artisan work of modern-day Cusqueños, which include descendants of the Inca, Spanish, and Italian cultures
• Get to know the city of Cusco with its ancient Incan temples, Spanish architecture, and modern day cafe culture
• Each day, there will be time for yoga, reflection/meditation, and activities. Of course there is always rooms for flexibility for individual needs and preferences
