About Breathwork and Cacao

“Breathwork” is a conscious breathing practice that aids in finding our center, releasing old patterns, thoughts & behaviors, and rebalancing our mind, body & spirit. Focused breathwork enables our brain to release numerous “feel-good” chemicals, including oxytocin, endorphins, and dimethyltryptamine (DMT). This flood of chemicals gives us the potential to experience out-of-body sensations, detaching from the physical body’s painful stories, and memories. The result is blissful, peaceful energy of surrender.  

When combined with breathwork, cacao gives us access to our body’s infinite energy & healing potential. Cacao is pure minimally processed chocolate. When chocolate is consumed in its purest form it is considered plant medicine or superfood because it is rich in vitamins, including vitamins A, C, D, E, B-complex vitamins B1, B2, B3, and pantothenic acid. Cacao beans are also loaded with many essential minerals the body needs. These include magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc, copper, manganese, potassium, and phosphorus. When we drink ceremonially, we slow down, honor mother earth and savor this food of the gods.
