You will receive the highest level of training. Zuda’s lineage includes 20+ years of experience and more than 500 graduates. Our leadership team has hundreds of training hours in transformational work. All graduates will be provided with tools to teach a complete yoga class and register RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) as a credential to teach anywhere in the United States.

The practice of leading a class and teaching others is critical for you to gain confidence and experience. Our teacher trainees begin teaching others the very first weekend and continue honing their skill throughout. Since we come from a perspective of “serving others,” each student finds a way to share yoga in their own communities. You’ll leave this program prepared to teach a vinyasa style yoga class anywhere. Our graduates go on to teach all over the world!

Expect to be challenged on many levels and discover new areas of awareness and acceptance for yourself. These insights can change your path in life while connecting you with a deeper meaning for living. All of this occurs within a safe, trusting environment, where you are supported, encouraged and loved.

Teacher Training Lead Facilitator

Heidi became a lover of movement at a very young age, as a dancer, athlete, and fitness enthusiast; she began teaching fitness in 1992. She continued to study the human body and its magic through her bachelor’s in Human Biodynamics from University of California Berkeley and Master’s in Kinesiology from California State University Fullerton.

Heidi dedicated herself to the study of yoga approximately 10 years ago, with a cumulative of over 3000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training; as a student and facilitator. The practice and study of yoga has helped her live life with more gratitude, love and wisdom. Her hope is to help others do the same.

Marie Anderson

Marie became a lover of yoga in 2007, when it helped transform her body, she became a believer in yoga in 2014 when it started to transform her mind.
Marie did her very first teacher training in 2014 at Zuda Yoga in Midtown Sacramento and has become a lifelong student & teacher. She has taken many trainings over the years and studied with lots of amazing teachers logging thousands of hours practicing, teaching, training & facilitating. She believes in the foundations of the practice. By building a strong foundation, we can learn to set ourselves free. 

Marie absolutely loves sharing this practice with anyone and everyone who is willing to show up and a 200-hour teacher training is her favorite! It is a beautiful gift to witness a life changing experience. 

Assistant Teacher Leighanne Hales, 200 RYT
Leigh Anne has been a proud Yoga Devotee for 20+ years and part of the Zuda Yoga Community for the past 6 years. She has completed hundreds of hours of Zuda Training programs including Yin and Chakra training, and assisted multiple workshops and programs. Practicing in this vibrant space sparked a professional desire to share yoga through teaching. Doing so, serves as a powerful tool in her life while expanding and deepening her personal practice! Leigh Anne is a disciple of all things health, wellness and fitness! When she is not on the mat, she is busy studying nutrition and training to be a Certified Nutrition Coach. She is an avid reader, great cook and clumsy meditator!

Assistant teacher Andrew Santos 200-ERYT, YACEP®
Andrew has been teaching yoga since 2010 and yoga workshops since 2013 in the Sacramento area. With thousands of teaching hours, Andrew has taken trainings in Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Chakras, Inversions, as well as an advanced teacher training. Yoga has been an integral part of Andrew’s life, and he shares a desire to spread his love for the practice to the Zuda community.
